This three-week course will cover various aspects of turfgrass fertilization including a thorough examination of nitrogen fertilizer, other secondary and micronutrients, cost-benefit of different fertilizer sources, nutrient demand & clipping volume, and the impact of fertilizer in the environment. At the end of the course, students will build a nutrient management plan for their facility.

    Turfgrass Fertilization

    Thank you to Dr. Soldat for providing just the right amount of information needed in a clear and concise manner. The videoa were very interesting. The only thing to point out is that on the final quiz, one of the questions refers of a fertilizer label that wasn't included. Therefore, you have to guess the answer.

    Very helpful in understanding base ferting practices

    My only complaint is there is little to no data being backed with warm season grasses like bermuda
